Dekalb Medical Podiatry Residents Provide Aid at 2010 Susan G. Komen 3-Day for the Cure

For Immediate Release:

From October 22 - 24, 2010, Dekalb Medical Podiatry Residents assisted over 300 staff and medical professionals from all disciplines in the 2010, Susan G. Komen 3-Day for the Cure.  This year's walk raised a total of over 6.1 million dollars for advancing cancer research and funding.  Hundreds of participants were treated from start to finish, and the volunteer Podiatry residents of Dekalb Medical partnered with nearly a dozen other medical specialties to alleviate painful injuries incurred during the 60 mile walk.

From the3day.org
Your Susan G. Komen 3-Day for the Cure journey through dynamic Atlanta will be like taking a walk through history. From the Civil War in the 1860s to Civil Rights in the 1960s, Atlanta continues to be a place of change, while still holding on to its Southern charm. The town's hospitality always makes for a great Komen 3-Day for the Cure experience and our participants feel right at home, no matter where they hail from.
